Frequently asked questions

How do I play on a phone?

Each machine shows its own controls on screen, below the tube. The directions are laid out as a cross — up, down, left and right — and the round button on the right is the action: fire, jump or throw, depending on the game. On a Mac you play with the arrow keys and the space bar.

I made the high-score table. How do I enter my name?

Three letter wheels appear. The up and down arrows change the letter, and tapping a wheel selects it. Then hit GRABAR (save).

Who is AMO?

Nobody. It's the mark the machine ships with from the factory, the way the real ones did. He's on all seventeen, and he's there to be beaten.

I lost my high scores.

Scores are stored on the device only. If you uninstall the app or change phone, they're gone. There's no cloud backup because the app never connects to the internet.

Why aren't the games called by their original names?

Because those names are registered trademarks of their manufacturers. The mechanics are free to use; the names are not. The ones here are original.

There's no sound.

Check the SONIDO option in the main menu, and make sure the phone isn't on silent. All the music is generated on the fly — there are no audio files that could be missing.

Does the app collect my data?

No. None at all. The details are in the privacy policy.

A bug or an idea

If something doesn't work, tell me which machine it was and what you were doing. That's usually enough to find it. I answer personally — no forms, no tickets.
